Editor’s Note – Twenty-Second Issue

Dear Artists, Writers, and most importantly – Believers,

I must first take the time to say, hello Spring! And with the flowers almost in full bloom and the winds beginning to warm up, this issue echoes that same sentiment.

Our poetry section this issue features weather friendly words from some terrific poets. (Disclaimer: We won’t say we told you so).

Love foreign films? Don’t forget to read a short blurb on the Iranian film, “A Separation.”

And if you love to read and love sharing even more, our Spotlight sheds some light on the art of joining and starting your very own book club. If Courtney has inspired you to start your own book club, drop us an email and we will highlight your accomplishments in our feature issues.

Also in this issue, three phenomenal photographers take what may seem like the mundane in our everyday lives and make them extraordinary.  The brief moments in time that their photos capture reveal more about one’s self than they do about the pictures. That my friends, is a great thing.

Interested in knowing if Bruce Springsteen is still the man when it comes to Rock? Well, take a peek at Taylor’s review of his latest album, “Wrecking Ball.” If you’re a true Boss fan, you’ll truly love our review.

Our issue wouldn’t be complete if we didn’t bring you a wonderful fiction piece. Bordering just 2000 words, this is a great read if you’re able to take that 15 minute break at your workstation.

All in all, we do have some surprises for those that are new to our way of literary mag-ging. We hope you enjoy this as much as we all did in putting this together. Special thanks to Annelise Furnald for the photographic headers for our sections.

Best,

Donald
