Photography & Art: Nature

Henry David Thoreau, noted American abolitionist, philosopher, and leader of the Trancendentalist movement, once observed, “I believe that there is a subtle magnetism in Nature, which, if we unconsciously yield to it, will direct us aright.”

My brother and I have been traveling Southeast Asia together this month and it never ceases to amaze me how much natural beauty is alive and thriving in the world. We asked our readers to take a closer look at Nature’s bounty themselves, and we are pleased to feature the work of Nancy Ryan Keeling, a poet, playwright, and multimedia artist from Cypress, Texas.

We thank you for your submissions—and wish you all safe journeys wherever the roads may lead.
